KELSO, MO (KFVS) - The lawsuit is settled between a Kelso police officer and a second amendment advocate.
As part of the settlement, Officer Jerry Bledsoe wrote a letter of apology and the city told officers not to seek legal action against people who are critical of the officers. Last May, Bledsoe confronted Jordan Klaffer about guns being fired on private property.
Klaffer recorded the incident in which he was arrested for disturbing the peace.
When Klaffer was critical of the Bledsoe on social media, the officer tried to sensor the comments by getting a court order.
