MESA COUNTY, CO (KJCT/CNN) - Three men are missing after a massive mudslide in Mesa County, CO.

Crews searched into the night on Sunday for the victims.

Police say the men went to go look at the landslide and never returned home.

Officials say the ridge gave way and starting sliding after a day of rain.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office describes the mudslide as "unbelievably big" - about four miles long, two miles wide, and about 250 feet deep.

Mesa County is in the western part of the state, close to Utah.
