3 teens plead guilty to convenience store robberies

MURPHYSBORO, IL (KFVS) - Three teenagers pleaded guilty to robbery charges after three convenience stores were robbed in Jackson County in January.

The teens, ages 16-17, pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery in separate cases and were sentenced to probation in Jackson County Juvenile Court on on April 15.

The robberies included Casey's General Store in Elkville on January 18, the Huck's Convenience Food Store in Murphysboro on January 19, and the Casey's General Store in Murphysboro on January 23.

The teens have been in custody at the juvenile detention center. They will be on probation until they reach 21.
