Crews respond to suspicious house fire in Hayti

HAYTI, MO (KFVS) -

Crews responded to the scene of a house fire in Hayti that is considered suspicious.

According to Pemiscot County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Rudd, the Hayti Fire Department fought the fire on West Lee Drive.

The house is believed to be abandoned.

No word right now on how the fire started, but officials call it suspicious.
