AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

O'Donovan's Irish Pub opened Friday afternoon on  Broad Street.

The pub serves traditional Irish cuisine like fish and chips and of course has Guinness on tap.

Pub owner Elaine D'Arcy says she wants people to feel like they're in Ireland when they walk into the pub.

"I want them to feel the warmth, the homeiness of it, and that's what the Irish pubs are about is just the warmth and feeling comfortable," she says.

D'Arcy says her team is already preparing for St. Patrick's day celebrations next weekend and hopes everyone stops by the pub to experience traditional Irish music and for a good time.
