KIEV, UKRAINE (ESPRESO TV/CNN) – Members of the Ukraine Parliament scuffled on Friday prior to discussing deadly street confrontations that have left dozens of people dead.

Protesters want a change in the nation's leadership amid moves by the national government toward Russia and away from Europe. Also, activists claim corruption plagues the government.

A shaky truce was in effect on the streets as several parties tried to work out a lasting halt to the violence.
