Authorities are looking for a suspect after a stabbing Thursday night in Cape Girardeau. Billy Joe McGee, 42, is charged with felony assault first degree and felony armed criminal action. Anyone with information on McGee is asked to call their local law enforcement agency.

On Thursday, the Carbondale Police Department responded to a report of a missing 19-year-old. Officers say Pravin M. Varughese was last seen in the 600 block of West College Street around 11 p.m. You can click here for more information.

Illinois State Police say two Illinois teenagers are considered missing and in danger. Police are looking for Amanda R. Reynolds, 14, of Carterville, Ill. and Trevor T. Villalpando, 17, of Mascoutah, Ill. Anyone with information is asked to call ISP at 618-542-2171, ext. 1202.

In national news, two major pileups and smaller fender-benders involving tractor-trailers and scores of cars blocked one side of an ice-coated Pennsylvania Turnpike outside Philadelphia on Friday, injuring at least 30 people and tying up traffic for hours.

The U.S. speedskating team is dumping the suits that were touted as the fastest in the world. Under Armour's senior vice president of innovation, Kevin Haley, said that the American team has received permission from the International Skating Union to switch back to its previous suits, starting with the men's 1,500 meters Saturday.
