LINCOLN, Ill. (AP) - Forecasters are warning that Illinois will experience another round of sub-zero wind chills.
The National Weather Service has issued wind-chill advisories for all of Illinois north of Jacksonville, Springfield and Decatur. The advisories are in effect until Monday mid-morning. They warn of wind chills dropping to between 20 and 30 below zero in northern Illinois.
In central Illinois, forecasters say the wind chill could be between 15 and 25 below zero.
Experts warn of hypothermia and frostbite risks and say anyone going outside should avoid as much exposed skin as possible.
