BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A man attempting to break into a grocery store in Bladenboro ended up stuck in the exhaust fan for several hours before he was found.

According to Chief Deputy Rodney Hester, someone called 911 Thursday around lunchtime to report he could hear someone yelling for help.

The caller said he couldn't locate the yelling, but thought it sounded like it was coming from inside the 41 Grocery and Grill.

When deputies arrived, they discovered 25-year-old Jonathan Adam Andrews stuck in the exhaust vent and had been there for several hours.

Andrews was taken to the hospital to be treated for frostbite and other injuries sustained during the incident.

He was arrested and charged with felony breaking and entering and damage to real property.
