An investigation into law enforcement in Scott County is underway. SEMO Drug Task Force Director Mark McClendon confirms the investigation is underway. Todd Tumminia will have more on this tonight on Heartland News at 9 and 10.

A Butler County trash collection company is being investigated by the Department of Natural Resources for a possible violation of Missouri solid waste law. Kadee Brosseau was in Butler County where some people who live there say Nichols Disposal is dumping the trash on the owner's property instead of taking it to a landfill.

The Bollinger County Sheriff's Office has released the names of two brothers involved in a deadly shooting. Officers were dispatched to County Road 512 for a domestic dispute between two brothers involving a firearm around 9:30 a.m. Mollie Lair was on the scene. You can click here for more.

Crews were on the scene of an early morning house fire in Mounds, Ill. A Mounds police officer, Aubrey Edwards, was on patrol and saw smoke coming from the home. He went inside and was able to help the woman out to safety.
