Coroner: Preliminary autopsy shows Du Quoin man died of hypothermia

DU QUOIN, IL (KFVS) -

A Du Quoin man was found dead Tuesday inside a portable building in the yard of a home on north Linden Street.

Coroner Paul Searby says preliminary autopsy findings show Jones died of hypothermia.

Investigators say family members found Jones in the building. The building had a space heater, but the heater wasn't running when family members found him.
