ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

A St. Francois County business owner is facing 30 counts of felony rape.

According to St. Francois County Prosecutor Jerrod Mahurin, Ronnie L. White, 56, of French Village has been charged with 30 counts of second-degree statutory rape.

White, who owns White's Y Stop and General Store in French Village, was arrested Wednesday morning and taken to St. Francois County Jail.

His bond was set at $500,000.

According to the probable cause statement, a 15-year-old girl who was a runaway told the Children's Advocacy Center that she was sexually assaulted approximately 30 times by White in 2012 and 2013.

White openly recorded the assaults on camera, according to the girl.

She said she let White record the sexual acts because she was afraid he would hurt her.

The girl went on to say White gave her pills that would make her sleep for days and would also make her sick for extended periods of time.

She also told representatives White dressed her up, fixed her hair and when she would stay with him for days at a time he would buy her things.

The girl also said White gave her money to make her stay quiet.
