PERRY COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - Earlier this week, Heartland News told you about two dogs that were left out in the snow in Brewer, Missouri , in Perry County.
One dog survived and the other one apparently froze to death.
Sheriff Gary Schaff says there were two owners in this case.
Heartland News has learned the owner of the dog that died was booked for animal neglect, which is a class C misdemeanor. They could face some jail time and a fine.
The dog that lived was returned to his owner and no charges were filed.
