Man facing burglary charges in western Ky.

MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

A Hardin, Kentucky man is facing burglary charges.

Jeremiah Nicholas, 20, of Hardin, Ky. is facing charges in two counties.

On Thursday, Murray Police responded to a theft report at Orscheln Farm & Home store on north 12th Street involving items taken from that store.

Additionally, it was discovered that an overnight burglary had occurred at Murray Home & Auto on Chestnut Street.

During an early morning traffic stop, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office detained Nicholas on drug and weapons charges.

Officers say items from the Murray incident were found on Nicholas.

Warrants have been applied for charges of burglary 3rd degree and theft by unlawful taking.

Nicholas was taken to the Marshall County Jail.
