Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon reports that two Mayfield men are facing drug and other charges after a bust on Monday.

Deputies along with the assistance of a special agent with the ATF and deputies of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, say they found marijuana trafficking at a home in the 200 block of North 14th Street in Mayfield.

Deputies say 28-year-old James "Maine" Richardson was charged with trafficking marijuana 8oz.-5lbs.

A search of the house during the investigation showed a number of guns along with scales and an amount of money that is believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales.

As deputies approached the home, they noticed a man run to one of the back bedrooms of the house.

Jacorrian Haynes, 28, of Mayfield was found and charged on two fugitive warrants out of Graves County for flagrant non-support and failure to appear.

Both men were taken to the Graves County Jail pending court appearances.

Guns along side illegal drugs caused the charge to be considered a class C felony, and are punishable with 10-15 years in prison, according to Sheriff Redmon.
