Surveillance photos released from Marion bank robbery

MARION, IL (KFVS) -

Marion police are investigating a bank-armed robbery.

It happened around 11:48 a.m. Saturday at Banterra Bank at 800 N. Carbon St.

Police say the suspect was armed with a gun and fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as around 5’9”, wearing dark pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, gloves and a face mask.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Marion Police Dept. at 618-993-2124.
