LFCS to host 2013 Holiday Home Tour

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

Lutheran Family and Children Services of Cape Girardeau and Southeast Missouri will again host the Holiday Home Tour on December 14.

It runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour includes six homes and refreshments will be provided. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Money raised goes to benefit local families and services provided by LFCS.

You can click here to buy tickets online or call 573-334-5866.

LFCS benefits many programs in the local area including adoption, food pantries, and many other services. Right now LFCS sponsors say items at food pantries are low. They ask for donations of non-perishable food items, including peanut butter, crackers, spaghetti sauce, pasta, soups, chili, canned meat, vegetables, beans, canned fruit, dry drink mix, and other items.

Items can be dropped off at 3178 Blattner in Cape or call 334-5866 for possible pick up.

The Boat House is a well known landmark to Cape Girardeau residents. It is one of the featured homes.
