Carbondale police investigating 5 home burglaries in week's time

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) -

The Carbondale Police Department is investigating five homes that were burglarized in the last week.

According to police, one report happened in the 300 block of South Hanseman Street. The suspect entered the locked home and stole items sometime between 9 p.m. on November 30 and 2:15 p.m. on December 1.

Another report states a person entered a locked home in the 300 block of West Monroe Street and stole items between the days of November 27 and November 30.

On November 29, police report three other burglaries that occurred sometime between November 27 and November 29. Those three include items stolen from one unlocked home and two locked homes. The homes were located in the 600 block of North Bridge Street, 1300 block of Old West Main Street and 700 block of South Illinois Avenue.
