Company opening in Ballard County could create up to 20 jobs

BALLARD COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The grand opening of Daher-TLI in Ballard County, Ky. took place Tuesday morning.

According to a press release from Gov. Steve Beshear, the operation will create up to 20 new jobs and a $2.2 million investment in the area.

Daher-TLI is a leading transportation management company that specializes in radioactive material.

The Ballard County facility offers a new service line for washing and recertifying empty cylinders for conditioned use or decontamination and disposal.

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority approved the company tax incentives up to $350,000 through the Kentucky Business Investment program to encourage the investment as well as job creation in the county.
