Paducah teen injured in rollover crash


A Paducah teenager was injured in a rollover crash Sunday afternoon in McCracken County.

It happened at 2:49 p.m. on 6260 Houser Road.

According to the sheriff's office, Matthew P. Moore, 17, of Paducah, was traveling northbound on Houser Road in a 2012 Nissan car.  Moore dropped off the shoulder near 6260 Houser Road and lost control of his car. 

The car flipped at least once prior to coming to rest.  Moore was taken to Baptist Health in Paducah for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation showed Moore was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.

The sheriff's office was assisted on scene by the Hendron Fire Department and Mercy Regional.
