BROOKPORT, IL (KFVS)
Red Cross volunteers from the Southeast Missouri Chapter spent their Thanksgiving holiday away from their loved ones. They were in the Washington, Illinois area to help families recover from the tornado that devastated their towns on November 17..
“It’s just terrible,” said Beth Seabaugh.
“I miss my family, but this work is gratifying and important and it really puts life in perspective," said Seabaugh. "I am so thankful I have a home to go back to. If people want to help they can donate money that’s always needed, or become a Red Cross volunteer.”
