CREAL SPRINGS, IL (KFVS) - Deputies arrested a person after a meth production lab was found in Creal Springs.
Destry Mitchell was arrested on Nov. 15 and charged with a 19 county complaint arising out of an anhydrous ammonia methamphetamine production laboratory that was discovered on Parker City Road in Creal Springs, according to Johnson County State's Attorney Tambra K. Cain.
Deputies were called there to serve an outstanding warrant for Jeremy Mitchell, who was also wanted on methamphetamine manufacturing charges.
While at the home, Johnson County deputies saw a syringe with hypodermic needle and discovered multiple weapons, which Mitchell was prohibited from having in his possession since he is a convicted felon.
got a search warrant and found an active anhydrous methamphetamine laboratory as well as a substantial amount of finished product.
Destry Mitchell is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, possession of hydrocodone, having anhydrous ammonia in an unapproved container, methamphetamine manufacturing, and possession of firearm by a felon, among others. Mitchell also faces similar charges in Saline County.
