PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - The McCracken County Sheriff's Department responded to a two-vehicle crash on November 25.
Around 7:34 p.m. when deputies arrived at the scene on Husbands Road, they say the investigation shoed that John Taylor, 41, of Paducah, was driving a 2008 Ford pickup. They say Taylor had a pull behind trailer that he was trying to back into the driveway across the road.
Deputies say Dreama Cross, 37, of Paducah, was going southbound on Husbands Road. As she approached where Taylor was backing the trailer into the drive, she didn't see the trailer in the road. They say Taylor failed to yield the right of way to Cross and Cross hit the truck as it was backing out.
Three minor passengers in Cross' vehicle were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The sheriff's department said Husbands Road was shut down for a short time during the crash investigation.
