SCOTT COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - The American Red Cross of Southeast Missouri continues to work in Scott County to help storm victims.

"If you need help contact us and we can come out and help you get started with recovery," said David Carnell of the American Red Cross.

They also need donations.

"The easiest way to give is through your donations," said Sara Gerau.

"We also want to remind people to be prepared, make a kit, and talk to their family about what their plan is in case of a storm," said Luke Bolz of Volunteer Services. "We also have the apps available with alerts and more information for specific events."

"This is the kind of event that inspires people to volunteer. All of our worker are certified. We encouraged people to get trained now to work with the next disaster," said Annah Rasul, of Volunteer Services.
