Magnitude 2.4 earthquake shakes parts of Ill.

ILLINOIS (KFVS) -

A magnitude 2.4 earthquake shook parts of southern Illinois Thursday night.

According to the USGS, the quake happened around 10:30.

The responses on usgs.gov show that areas impacted include Metropolis, Pulaski, Tamms, and Ullin.

A magnitude 2.4 is considered to be a weak earthquake with low intensity and no damage reported.
