Former youth leader pleads guilty to child porn

DANVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A former youth leader at a central Kentucky church has pleaded guilty to 45 counts of possession of child pornography.

The Advocate-Messenger (http://bit.ly/1biCq5x) reports 29-year-old Jonathan David Hall entered the plea Thursday in Boyle Circuit Court in exchange for a recommended sentence of five years in prison. The charges involved sexual emails to four underage girls.

Hall was the former youth leader for the Danville campus of Southland Christian Church.

Hall's attorney, Ephraim Helton, said his client got carried away by his sexual fantasies and was deeply remorseful.

Hall could have faced up to 20 years in prison if he was convicted at a trial.

Sentencing was set for Dec. 3.
