Churches often reach out and help people in need in the community. However, someone recently reached into the donation box at a Ste. Genevieve church and took what they wanted. Police say someone came in the main door of the church, walked to the front, broke into a donation box and took money. Kadee Brosseau talked to the priest today. You can click here for the story.

One suspect is in custody and a man is dead after a shooting in Patterson yesterday evening. According to Wayne County Coroner Gary Umfleet, foul play is suspected in the shooting.

Four people have been charged with first degree robbery after an investigation in Morley. The sheriff's department says two people have been arrested and they are searching for the other two suspects. You can click here for more.

Normal traffic has resumed after 19 cars derailed in the Mitchell Lake area Sunday afternoon, according to the Franklin County Emergency Management Agency. The EM director residents should still use caution while driving in the area because workers will still be on site clearing it.

An Anna woman accused of kidnapping a newborn baby was in court today for a pre-trial. Karen Sue Nichols is charged with aggravated kidnapping, armed robbery and aggravated unlawful restraint.
