ST. LOUIS (KFVS) -

No Cardinal fans were as fired up for Monday night’s game as Janet and Landon Hume. KFVS teamed up with Academy Sports and Outdoors to give away a pair of tickets. Janet Hume is the lucky winner, so she doesn’t have to worry about paying a fortune to get into Busch Stadium.

Hume says she is beyond excited to take her son Landon to his very first World Series game. Landon is 24 years old and has Fragile X Syndrome, which is a disability similar to Autism.

"He watches every game, never misses one,” Janet Hume said.

Janet’s name was drawn out of 22,000 entries.

“I said, ‘Landon, guess what.’ He said ‘What?’ and I said ‘We won tickets to the World Series. He said ‘No way!’”

Hume says she was shocked when she found out she’d won.

"I never expected to win, never won anything in my entire life and then to win Cardinals tickets on top of that,” Hume said. “It makes me happy because he's so excited because it's something he's always wanted and I'm just glad we get to do it."

Hume says they are excited for the whole experience.

“There’s electricity in the air.” Hume said. “Just being there and feeling all the excitement. We probably won't sleep for the next day or two."
