Royalton church fire, Kennett police investigate shooting, World Series Game 4

A Royalton church is called a complete loss after a fire early this morning. The Royalton Christian Church caught fire around 5 a.m. State Fire Marshal David Bandera said the fire began in the upper part of the church, above the balcony. The Kennett Police Department is looking of two people in connection with a shooting overnight at the Eagles Club. They're looking for a woman they say may be injured from gunfire and 32-year-old Tracy "Tray" Reed, who they want to question. You can click here for the story.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol helicopter crashed during a training flight around 1 p.m. yesterday near Jefferson City airport. Police say no one was injured and the helicopter emergency landed after engine failure.

A Chinese immigrant was arrested today on five counts of murder in the deaths of his cousin's wife and her four children in a stabbing rampage in their Brooklyn home. The suspect, 25-year-old Ming Don Chen, implicated himself in the stabbings late Saturday in the Sunset Park neighborhood, police said.
