CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

Crews are on the scene of a fire at Doctors Park in Cape Girardeau on Saturday afternoon.

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department Battalion Chief Fred Dincell said roofers were working on the roof of building 21 PCS with a heat gun. He said the roofers left and later the roof caught fire.

When crews arrived, flames were showing on the northern side of the building. The extinguished the flames and began to tear the outside portion of the roof off to air it out.

Dincell said they do not know the exact cause of the fire, yet. No one was injured.

He said the company is attached to another office. It only had smoke in the attic.

The PCS office did have smoke damage and crews broke the front glass door to air it out. It is expected to open Monday morning.

PCS is a drug testing company and Doctors Park is located on Mt. Auburn Road.
