I-24 WB in Trigg Co. reopened after deadly crash

TRIGG COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said both lanes of I-24 westbound are now open and the site is clear after a deadly crash at the 62 mile marker in Trigg County early Saturday morning.

According to KYTC, a semi and a car crashed and landed in the median. The truck was hauling consumer tongue and groove flooring and the load separated from the trailer.

Traffic was detoured for several hours while crews cleaned up the site.
