PARK HILLS, MO (KFVS) -

According to Leadington Police Chief Rick Pogue, a third Park Hills Volunteer Firefighter was arrested in connection to a string of arsons dating back nearly six months.

Chief Pogue said David Radford is charged with second-degree attempted arson.

Radford was being held at the St. Francois County Jail, but posted bail on Saturday.

Two other Park Hills firefighters were arrested on charges of arson last week.

According to St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney Jerrod Mahurin, Bradley Easter and Dale Hamor each face six counts of arson for fires set at vacant homes between April and August 2013.

The suspects were brought in for questioning on deer poaching, and the two confessed to the arsons and were formally charged last Friday.

They used gasoline and lighter fluid along with other flammables.

They are being held on $100,000 bond each in St. Francois County.

Mahurin said it appears the fires were set out of boredom.

No one was hurt, but Mahurin said property owners could press charges for damages.

Chief Pogue said there's a fourth suspect in the case who may be charged as well.
