WARE, IL (KFVS) - A man was injured in a tractor trailer crash on Illinois Route 3 near Ware on Wednesday.

According to the man's daughter, on Friday he was still in the hospital.

She says he had ten broken ribs, punctured spleen and a deflated lung. He is awake and alert and talking. They are going to do surgery on Monday or maybe later in the week for his ribs. And, possibly remove his spleen if it doesn't stop bleeding.

It happened about five miles from Ware.

The truck veered off the road and overturned.
