CRITTENDEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Kentucky State Police responded to a single-vehicle injury collision Wednesday in Crittenden County, Kentucky.

It happened around 7:25 a.m. on KY 902, about 5.5 miles east of Dycusburg.

Troopers say Nicholas A. Darnell, 20, of Fredonia, was driving a Ford Ranger eastbound on KY 902 when the truck went off the right shoulder of the road causing Darnell to lose control. The truck then hit a concrete bridge end.

Darnell, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken by ambulance to Methodist Hospital in Henderson for treatment. There were no passengers.

Fredonia Fire and Rescue, Princeton Fire and Rescue and Crittenden County EMS assisted at the scene.
