MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A western Kentucky man was hospitalized after a motorcycle crash late Saturday night.
McCracken County sheriff's deputies responded to the wreck near the intersection of Husbands and Krebs Station Rd.
Deputies say Joseph Matus, 71, of Wingo, was driving a Harley Davidson northbound on Husbands Rd. and for unknown reasons, his motorcycle dropped off the right side of the road causing him to lose control.
The motorcycle went down an embankment and Matus was thrown from the motorcycle. Matus was taken by EMS to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies were assisted on scene by Mercy EMS and Hendron Fire Department.
