Cape police work interstate crash

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

Cape Girardeau police were working a traffic crash on Interstate 55 at the 93.2 mm marker, southbound. It happened shortly before 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

Traffic was down to one lane at one point, and moving slow in the area.

Both lanes opened up around 5:45 p.m. Police say to use caution this rush hour, as wet roads make it difficult to stop or adjust quickly.

There's no word on if anyone was injured in the crash.
