VILLAGE OF EQUALITY, IL (KFVS) - A man captured in Saline County on Sunday also faces charges in Gallatin County.
Equality, Illinois Police Chief Tony Lloyd says Brian K. Potts is facing a class X felony aggravated methamphetamine manufacturing with surveillance cameras, aggravated domestic battery, unlawful restraint and unlawful possession of weapons by a felon.
Lloyd says inside the home, multiple firearms were found. He faces aggravated battery due to committing bodily harm to a woman inside the home.
Potts was reportedly using surveillance cameras for manufacturing operations he conducted inside the home.
Potts was being housed in Saline County Jail. Lloyd says the investigation is ongoing and Potts may see additional charges in the future.
The Saline County Sheriff's Office took Potts into custody early Sunday morning.
According to Sheriff Keith Brown, around 11 p.m. on Saturday deputies received a tip that Brian K. Potts, 39, of Golconda, Illinois, was seen earlier in the day going into a home on Highway 145 South, just outside of Harrisburg.
Potts was wanted on a Saline County warrant for failure to appear on a speeding violation and for an Illinois parole violation.
