3 Memphis men in custody after altercation with knife and broomstick

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

According to Cape Girardeau Police Department, three men are in custody after a man was cut with a knife and beaten with a broomstick.

Around 2 p.m. Friday, Three Memphis, Tennessee men entered a home in the 400 block of Belleview Street.

Police say a man in the home was robbed and sliced with a knife on the right side of his leg and on his stomach. The injured man was taken to a hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

Police tracked the three men down to the 600 block of North Spanish Street where they were taken into custody.

Court papers show 22-year-old Vincente V. Young, 18-year-old Marcquise L. Taylor and 19-year-old William M. Taylor, all of Memphis, face charges of assault first degree, armed criminal action and burglary first degree.

A Judge set their bond at $250,000 each. They were Cape Girardeau County Jail in Jackson, Mo.
