1 injured in crash near Oran

ORAN, MO (KFVS) -

A 16-year-old Benton girl is injured after a crash with a farm truck near Oran Monday night.

It happened on Hwy. 77 in Oran around 5:10 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Larissa Hawthorne, 16, of Benton tried to make a left turn when she pulled into the path of a farm truck driven by 53-year-old Patrick Kiefer of Chaffee.

Hawthorne was wearing her seatbelt.

She was taken to Saint Francis Medical Center with serious injuries.

The truck driver was not hurt.
