2 accused of marijuana grow operation

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department Drug Division issued a search warrant at a home on Homewood Avenue in the Farley area of Paducah at around 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Officers say Randi Beasley, her infant daughter, and Anthony Satterwhite were found at the home. Deputies say Satterwhite tried to conceal evidence upon deputies arrival and was quickly detained.

According to the sheriff's office, during a search of the home, a number of marijuana plants were found in a concealed marijuana grow area.
 
Deputies say the marijuana grow operation was complete with fans and lights to help the marijuana grow. Officers say also found was marijuana, methamphetamine, doses of Hydrocodone, and both marijuana and methamphetamine paraphernalia. Officers say some of the illegal items was in areas where children could access them. Those items, along with cash was seized.

Randi Beasley, 28, was charged with possession of controlled substance 2nd degree, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and wanton endangerment 2nd degree.

Anthony Satterwhite was charged with cultivate in marijuana over 5 plants, possession of methamphetamine, tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and wanton endangerment 2nd degree.

They were both taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Social Services came to the home to assist in the investigation, as well as the McCracken County Animal Control.
