Company hiring over 100 new employees throughout Mo.

MISSOURI (KFVS) -

AT&T announced Wednesday, September 4 they are accepting applicants for more than 185 positions throughout Missouri.

The company said they will be hiring full and part-time employees in retail, business sales, customer care and U-verse premise technician positions. They plan to begin filling these positions immediately.

"Missouri businesses and consumers are increasingly using communications services like wireless and broadband to stay connected to all aspects of their lives at home and at work and everywhere in between," said Dan Mehan, president and CEO of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry. "These job opportunities are great for Missouri as they are in one of the fastest growing segments of our economy and will help provide critical communication services to customers."

In the first half of 2013, AT&T invested nearly $250 million in its wireless and wired networks in Missouri. The investments included deployment of new macro cell sites, small cells and Distributed Antenna Systems across the state as a part of AT&T's Project Velocity IP, a three-year investment plan announced last fall to expand and enhance its IP broadband networks.

The company also expanded and enhanced its 4G LTE network, which provides ultra-fast mobile Internet speeds, and deployed new Wi-Fi hot spots.

Full and part-time positions include competitive wages and benefits which may include tuition reimbursement, paid time off, medical/dental/vision health care benefits, discounts on AT&T products and services, life insurance, pre-tax flexible spending accounts and participation in a 401(k) plan with company matching.
