LONE OAK, KY (KFVS) - Two 13-year-old teenagers are facing felony burglary charges out of McCracken County, Kentucky.
Officers responded to an alarm around 4:35 a.m. Monday at the Lone Oak Superway at 3209 Lone Oak Road.
Deputies say that unknown suspects had thrown a large rock through the front door to get into the store.
According to the sheriff's office, a review of the store's security footage showed a male juvenile throw the rock through door. Another male juvenile got into the store through the front door and then left with cigarettes and soft drinks.
The juveniles were identified from the security footage, and later found walking in the 5300 block of Clinton Road.
Deputies say the 13-year-old's admitted to breaking into the store. They were found with merchandise taken from the store.
They were both charged with felony 3rd degree burglary and released into the custody of their parents with a court date pending.
