CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) -

Carbondale police are looking for a man accused in a retail theft.

Police went to a business on August 20 in the 1400 block of E. Main Street about a report of a retail theft.

Officers say a black male, wearing a white hat and white t-shirt, hid items and left the store without paying.

Police say the suspect may use the name “Cedrick."

The police department is seeking the public’s help in trying to identify the suspect who was captured on the businesses surveillance camera system.
