Victim hit, dragged by SUV in Paducah hit-and-run

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Paducah police are investigating a hit-and-run where the victim was dragged by the SUV.

According to police it happened around 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday at 13th Street and Broadway.

Leslie M. Windhorst, 37, told police he was riding a bicycle on Broadway and crossing 13th Street when he was hit by a white or off-white SUV.

Police say Windhorst was dragged by the SUV, crawled from beneath it and asked the driver for help. Police say the driver said "no" and drove off.

The driver is described as a black woman, 55-60-years-old with short hair and glasses.

Windhorst was taken to Baptist Health Paducah for treatment.

Police say this is the second hit-and-run incident in two weeks.
