MARION, IL (KFVS) -

Police are investigating a robbery at the Mid-Country Bank in Marion.

It happened around 11:36 a.m. Thursday at the bank on 1702 West Boulevard Street.

According to Marion police, the suspect described as a black man in his early 30's, 5’10” tall, wearing black pants, a white long sleeve thermal shirt, a curly black wig and a facemask left with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect fled the scene northbound towards the Dollar General Store parking lot in the Town and Country Shopping Center.

Police say no injuries were reported.

Marion Police are investigating the robbery along with the Illinois State Police.
