Here is a list of activities planned around Labor Day on Monday.

Illinois

There is an all day Horseshoe Lake Labor Day Festival in Olive Brach at the community center on Monday, September 2

There will be a bounce house, face painting, train rides, games, crafts, food, a raffle, and more. There will also be music in the pavilion. There's a pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. and a BBQ at 10 a.m.

The Gloryroad Travelers, the News Harmony Singers, Cairo Men's Choir and Bruce Zimmerman will perform.

Missouri

Here is a schedule of activities for the 22nd Annual Old Greenville Days event on September 21-22, 2013 at the Greenville Recreation Area located just two miles south of Greenville, Missouri on Business U.S. Highway 67.

Saturday, September 21

• 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.  Memorial at Union Cemetery

• 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Craft Booths Open

• 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Living History Encampment Open

• 10:00 am - 10:50 am Cabin Fever

• 11:00 a.m. - 11:50 a.m. Acoustic Cross Roads

• 12:00 p.m. - 12:50 p.m. Mikayla and The Davis Family Tradition

• 1:00 p.m. - 1:50 p.m. Legacy

• 1:30 p.m. - Old Time Children Games and Candy Cannon (Living History Area)

• 2:00 p.m. - 2:50 p.m. Iron Mountain Station

• 3:00 p.m. - 3:50 p.m. Buzzard Run

• 4:00 p.m. - 4:50 p.m. String Circle

• 5:00 p.m. - 5:50 p.m. Betty and Jane with Bluegrass Friends

• 8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Candle Light Tours (Bring Flashlight)

Sunday, September 22

• 8:30 am - Non-denominational Service (Courthouse Mound)

• 9:00 am - 6:00 p.m. Craft Booths Open

• 10:00 am - 3:00 p.m. Living History Encampment Open to Public

• 10:00 am - 10:50 a.m. McAtee Singers

• 11:00 am - 11:50 a.m. Acoustic Cross Roads

• 12:00 p.m. - 12:50 p.m. Boo Boo The Clown and Basket Auction

• 1:00 p.m. - 1:50 p.m. Iron Mountain Station

• 2:00 p.m. - 2:50 p.m. Level Ground Ministries

• 3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Buzzard Run

• 4:00 p.m. - 4:50 p.m.  String Circle

• 5:00 p.m. - 5:50 p.m.  Heartland Rhythm

Organizers say there will be special juggling performances by Kevin and Kris from Caseyville, Illinois throughout the event on both days.
