MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A man and a woman were involved a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in McCracken County.
The sheriff's office says the crash happened shortly before 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of US 60 west and Kelly Road for a report of a two-vehicle collision with injuries.
Deputies say William Hughes, 95, of West Paducah was driving northbound on Kelly Road and stopped his car at the stop sign at the intersection of US 60 west. Hughes told police that he looked both ways but did not see the jeep driven by 40-year-old Michelle Shaw.
As Hughes crossed US 60, his car hit the jeep in the drives side causing it to leave the road and overturn and come to rest on its side in the ditch.
Mercy Regional took both Hughes and Shaw to Baptist Health for possible minor injuries.
Assisting on scene was the West McCracken Fire Department.
