Driver injured after vehicle crashes into home in Graves County

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

A driver was taken to a hospital after her vehicle crashed into a home in western Kentucky Friday morning.

It happened around 10:50 a.m. on KY 58 East near Dairy Hill.

According to Graves County Sheriff De Wayne Redmon, Teresa Mason, 61, of Mayfield, was eastbound on KY 58 when her vehicle dropped off the side of the road. Redmon says Mason then lost control of her vehicle before it traveled across several yards and hit a house.

Sheriff Redmon says the homeowners were not at home at the time of the collision.

Mason was taken to Lourdes Hospital by Mayfield-Graves County EMS with non-life threatening injuries.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office is investigating the collision.

The Mayfield-Graves County EMS/Fire Department and the Mayfield-Graves County Rescue Squad assisted the sheriff's office.
