4 taken to hospitals after 4-car crash in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Deputies say four people were injured in a Thursday morning crash in McCracken County.

It happened shortly after 7:30 a.m. at 4033 Clarks River Road.

Crash investigators say it all started when Marcy Turner, 40, of Paducah was driving westbound in her Chrysler Sebring.

Officers say Turner failed to notice traffic had stopped in the construction zone that was ahead.

According to the sheriff's office, Turner tried to stop, but her car collided with a Nissan Altima, driven by Michelle Farthing, 25, of Paducah. The impact caused Farthing’s vehicle to collide with a Mercury Milan, driven by Cynthia Frazier, 63, of Paducah. This impact pushed Milan’s vehicle forward causing it to collide with a Chrysler Town and Country, driven by Terri Bailey, 57, of Calvert City.

Officers say all four drivers were taken to area hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.

The portion of Clarks River Road was limited to one lane for about 45 minutes.
