BENTON, MO (KFVS) - Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter says a Jackson, Missouri woman is facing charges in connection to a Scott County woman's death.
Tiffany R. Warner, 24, of Jackson, Missouri, was charged with felony tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution.
Sheriff Walter says that Warner is the girlfriend of Neil Howland. Howland was charged with his mother's murder on August 20.
Warner was identified early in the investigation as a person of interest in the crime, according to the sheriff.
Warner has posted bond and was released from the Scott County Jail.
Investigators say they continue to investigate other leads in this case.
